It was my priviledge to work and serve with John for over 25 years on various community events. He truly had a heart of service and the will to accomplish the mission no matter how difficult. He taught me patience and understanding of situations that we could not control but yet strived to make a success. My condolences to the family.

Carrol Goodrich Evans says
I will miss Uncle John and his dry sense of humor. He would always confuse Mom and Dad’s (Linda and Bill Goodrich) grandkids because he looked so like my dad. Many times our kids would call him ’Grandpa’, then look at him and Dad and you could see their little brains working to figure out why there were 2 grandpas. Even the great-grandkids were fooled. Uncle John always had a smile for them. Dad will miss his little brother dearly, even on the golf course. Good bye, Uncle John. We’ll take good care of Aunt Terry. I love you.
